Studienkollegs in Germany serve as preparatory institutions designed for international students whose school qualifications do not directly meet the entry requirements for German universities. These one-year courses focus on both subject-specific knowledge & German language proficiency, helping students bridge any academic gaps before enrolling in a degree program. At the end of the Studienkolleg, students must pass the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP) - the University Qualification Exam. A successful result makes them eligible to apply for a bachelor's degree at a German university.
